To develop the most effective respiratory filter in the Australian market, it had to be hydrophobic. Because of this, our filter is not compatible with heated tubes and humidification settings. Instead, please advise patients to use the included standard tube. Bird Healthcare recommends patients replace their filter every week of use and the tube after 6 months of use. 99.99% Bacterial and viral filtration efficacy independently validated to 0.02m as tested by HPA UK and Nelson Laboratories USA.
